Easter Weekend

I'm a little late in posting this, but better late than never, they say. We had a great Easter weekend this year. On Saturday, we took to the kids to Home Depot for their monthly free kids workshop where Parker and Sadie made bird feeders. They got an apron, and they got to build and decorate their feeders however they chose. Before leaving, they got a pin for their apron and a certificate for participating. It was a fun, free learning activity, and we are looking forward to going back next month!

Daddy hung their bird feeders on the window when we got home. I'm not gonna lie....I haven't seen a single bird at them.

That afternoon my cousin, Stephanie, and her family came over for an Easter egg hunt. Parker, Sadie, and Cousin A were so excited!

After the egg hunt, we had some special Easter treats that I made after seeing a pin on Pinterest. They were yummy, and definitely in the spirit of the season! (If you can't tell, they looked like little chocolate nests with eggs in them.)

After church on Sunday, we went out to eat with our good friends, Corey and Blythe, and their darling baby girl, Charity. It was so much fun getting spend some time with them!

Disney on Ice

Last week went to see Disney on Ice. We had never been before and I knew the kids would just love it....and we all did! The kids were super excited about the new toys they got to pick out, too.

Here we are with the kids before the show.

It was sooooooo much fun to see the kids' reactions when the show started and the characters began appearing!

There were so many fun Disney characters to see! Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as well as scenes from Aladdin, Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Pinocchio, The Incredibles, Mulan, and the Lion King to name a few. All of the characters came out for the final number.
