This weekend we went to Diana's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze just outside of Canon City. A couple of weeks ago I got an awesome deal for us to go there on Groupon (if you don't know what that is, go to groupon.com right now!) and it only cost $8 for all of us to go. We love a great deal, and we had such a blast! Here are some pictures from our time there.
So many pumpkins!
Climbing the haystack to get to the big slide!
Parker's turn....
Ready to go again!
Sadie and Daddy went down together.
The great thing about time-out is that it can happen anywhere! Fortunately, this was the only one.
Getting ready to go on the hayride....
All of us!
Next, it was time to check out the animals. Here are some chickens....
.....some rabbits....
....and a calf!
Playing in the corn bin.
Heading into the corn maze....see how tall it is?
It was really pretty cool. There was a game that you could play with clues to look for, but the kids just enjoyed getting to choose which way to go.
They had ALL different kinds of pumpkins....these look like peanuts were growing on the outside of them.
These were all different shades of gray....really cool looking.
These are called "Red Warty Thing"!
Black night pumpkins.
We got two free pumpkins with our admission, but we told the kids they could each pick out a small pumpkin.
Sadie with hers....
....and Parker with his.
We enjoyed a little ice cream in the car before heading home!
Stay tuned to see how we will carve the pumpkins that we brought home....
