Ahoy, Mateys!

Yesterday, our family spent the morning and early afternoon at a water park in Englewood called Pirate's Cove. It is especially geared towards kids with many areas being somewhere between only 6 inches and 40 inches deep. We had such a great time even though I came away with a sunburn and a slightly bruised ego from a rather ungraceful 'entrance' into the lazy river. Everyone else came away fairly unscathed, though, so it's all good. Here are some snapshots from our day!

Checking out the Spray Ground.
Parker running through the Spray Ground.
Checking out one of the "pools".
View of some of the play structure. The big bucket on top fills up slowly and dumps out when it is full.
Sadie, Andrew, and Parker.
Eating lunch. Happy Sadie....
....and whiny Parker. If I didn't know better, I'd think someone switch their personalities yesterday.
Still eating.
Andrew and I.
Sadie ready to get back out there!
Parker still in a bad mood.
Playing on the "Beach".
Parker in a slightly better mood.
Making sand castles with Daddy.
The kids and I watched while Andrew went down a slide.
Good-bye, Pirate's Cove!
