While my parents were still here, we took a day trip to the Buena Vista area to to see some of Andrew's family members who were here and to show Mom and Dad some of our favorite things about Colorado.

We knew we wanted to take them to feed the chipmunks in St. Elmo, which is one of our summer faves.
Mom and Dad even got in on the action.

We also fed the fish at the hatchery....
....and spent some time fishing!
It was a full day, and we had such a fun time with all of our family members. We were welcomed home by this sunset over Garden of the Gods as we arrived back in the Springs. We do feel very blessed to live here!
